| New Membership Structure:
Effective 15 March 2008 the following membership fees shall be applied to the Star-16, MTRA.
(These rates are for a lifetime membership and a one-time item. There are no annual fees/dues associated with the MTRA.)
Single Rider Membership:
Basic membership will include the following:
Member ID. Card, Acceptance Letter, MTRA Upper Rocker, 1x4” Member patch, Decal, One pin.
Cost: $40.00 (Cloth) Back patch and Shoulder patch purchased separately. Approx. $30.00+sh.
Option 2- same as above but with (new) Vest & Embroidered Colors will be: $120.00 (Best value for your money)
Family Memberships:
Two adult members, same as above: @ $65.00 or $32.50/per. (Savings of $7.50/membership)
Vest/Colors purchased separately at members cost, or…total membership with Vest/Colors= $240.00
Additional members: adults $30.00/per. Children under 17 years of age $10.00 will also receive one member ID.card of their own, one pin, and a shoulder patch only. All other items will be charged normal rates for merchandise.

All fees collected shall be disbursed accordingly:
First and foremost to cover the costs associated with membership items. (IE: patches, colors, id’s, etc.)
Secondly and as importantly: to raise general funds for the membership activities and promotion of the MTRA. (cookouts, rallies, charity runs, promotional events, etc.)
With enough memberships/ donations…to raise funds for injured MTRA club members and immediate families in their time of need. (Biker Down Fund).

A typical breakdown:
75% will go to the Admin/MTRA costs, followed by 12.5% to General Funds, and finally 12.5% to the Biker Down Fund drive.
$40.00 membership: Admin/MTRA =$30.00, General Funds =$10.00, Biker Down =$10.00…
These rates are subject to change at the discretion of the MTRA Administration team. We may need to adjust funding for different aspects from time to time to cover particular costs, entrance fees, etc. With increased memberships, and price changes of vendors and suppliers, the actual amount to cover costs may fluctuate, and therefore can be diverted to other aspects of the clubs activities. We will inform members via newsletter and chapter meetings should adjustments be needed. After all these are your funds and you should be aware of where they are going and for what purposes.
