LT.Malcolm Arthur "Art" Avore, the Star-16's adopted POW/MIA/KIA. A day ride in rememberance of his untimely death during the Vietnam conflict,18 July 1965. Meet at the Augusta Civic Center, Augusta,ME. 10:00 AM. Kickstands up at 10:30.. Details to follow.. Annyone having any U.S.S. Oriskany (CVA-34) Memorabilia please bring with you. I will be attempting to get pins and or patch to commemorate this ride, as it will be our first annual "Avore" Rememberance ride as the Star-16 Family.
